FAQs
What is a DSE Remote Consultation?
This is a one-to-one session delivered over video chat or the telephone, which is designed to identify and help eliminate problems related to DSE activities. With this assessment we aim to review and improve the workstation set-up to help alleviate musculoskeletal discomfort and, as a result, improve the wellbeing and productivity of your employees.
Who is the DSE Remote Consultation for?
The DSE Remote Consultation is for people who are experiencing discomfort or pain at their DSE workstations and need advice and recommendations.
What happens in a DSE Remote Consultation?
The assessment will be carried out over Zoom, or the telephone, by a member of our assessment team. All of our assessors are trained DSE assessors with extensive product knowledge. They know their stuff and they’re always happy to share their expertise with your employees.
Following the assessment, a form will be submitted which will address the reason for the assessment, highlight any relevant areas of concern, and provide recommendations.
What happens after I book a DSE Remote Consultation?
After your assessment booking has been placed, a member of our appointments team will be in touch to confirm a suitable assessment date.
Do I need to appear on webcam?
It is not essential, but preferable. There is the option of chatting over Zoom without activating your webcam — or we can talk over the phone instead. However, being able to see one another allows for a more personable experience.
Assessors need to have sight of the workstation, so maybe "sharing your environment by camera enables the assessor to fully assess your environment (you may also be asked to provide photos of your environment ahead of the assessment).
